Uncle Milt Uncle Milt's Scrapbook
I thought it time to update the scrapbook with some new photos. You can still view Scrapbook #1 as well as Gweneeth's Trail Days Photos and The Sole Sisters '97 hike.

The fall color in the North Georgia Mountains was excellent this year. It lasted well into October and early November.

Another shot of Phillip, Deanna and Chip.

Middle of November on Springer Mt. finds heavy frost and nippy (22F) temps...

Discovered this clearing on Springer...a mini bald?

Here are some of my regular hiking pals, chewing the gorp on Blood Mt. From L>R we have: Deanna, Paula, Chip, Doug (AT'79) and Phillip. Terri, my hiking partner, couldn't be with us this cold and windy day.

Went to take a little drive on the ol' Blue Ridge Parkway recently and discovered fog and snow, plus gates closing the road. This is Soco Gap near Maggie Valley. So, I headed over to the Smokies and hiked on the Kephart Prong Trail instead.

I hope you enjoyed the scrapbook. You can mail me at unclemilt@backcountry.net.
